Greetings from the Singapore Embassy in Hanoi. I refer to the Singapore Embassy’s letter informing you that application for the ASEAN Scholarship for Vietnam, Academic Year 2027 was opened till 27 February 2026. This is to inform you that the online application deadline has been extended to 9 March 2026. Administered by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Singapore, the ASEAN Scholarship programme aims to create opportunities for outstanding young people from ASEAN countries to broaden their horizons and develop important skills such as leadership, communication and other life skills.

2            We seek your continued support to disseminate information about the ASEAN Scholarship for Vietnam to students in your school and encourage them to apply for this Scholarship. Interested students must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Are nationals of Vietnam;
• Are born between 2 January 2010 and 1 January 2013;
• Are proficient in English;
• Currently in Grade 8, 9 or 10;
• Have done consistently well in school examinations; and
• Have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities.
